Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, after a long dry spell, it seems if a buyer has cash or can obtain financing they are now eager to buy up these land deals in Brooksville and surrounding areas of Hernando, Citrus and Sumter counties. This weekend I was fortunate to drive and walk 58 acres for 2 prospects, when we submitted the offers it turns out there are already 2 other offers in!! Yes this owner is willing to finance with 20% down...but the owner was willing to do that all last year as well - and no one took him up on it until December he sold a tract, then in March another tract, and now has offers in on the last 4 tracts available. It was so much fun putting on my boots, bandana, hat and watching for snakes...that is so much fun to do!!
